Who needs a bed or even to lay down?

Leah will generally sleep wherever. It doesn't need to be comfortable. If she is already asleep and it is after 6 in the evening? You don't move her once she is down and you definitely do not undress her or else she wakes up quite cranky and will not sleep a wink until well past midnight. Instead we let her sleep however she is until she wakes up on her own.

Post Thanksgiving Rest

We spent Thanksgiving at Aunt Helene & Uncle Gary's house with Ruth's family. Jacquie's husband Mike cooked a delicious meal (and Jacquie made some really good stuffed mushrooms.)

We all had a great time. Leah had a blast playing with Tyler.

We spent Friday sleeping in.

Leah had a lil trouble getting herself out of bed.

Leah Knows Best

Leah was absolutely refusing to go to sleep tonight. She told me she wasn't tired, not sleepy. I was sitting in bed folding another load of laundry and she was on the floor "reading" a book. I said "Leah after I put this load of clothes away it is time for bed. No excuses. " and she says "Mama I said I AM NOT TIRED. I will tell YOU when I am tired." 10 minutes pass and I notice I haven't heard a peep from her. I go look down at the floor and this is what I find:

After a nice long day of spending family time together Leah went right to sleep.
