Playdate with Bella

We were lucky enough to get to meet up with Jared and his beautiful daughter Bella at the Plainview Bowling Alley. Bella can really bowl. Sad how much better she is than everyone else and she is ONLY 4! While Matt, Jared and Bella bowled, Leah and I spent the time playing on the stairs. More like her crawling, and walking everywhere and me trying hard to keep up.



Then anytime someone was done with their turn Leah would clap and say "Yay!".



Leah likes to dance, no matter where she is. Here she is showing off her dancing skills.

Rachael and Brian's lil Jake

Matt's cousin Brian and his wife Rachael had a wonderful little boy named Jake and today we got to meet the awesome baby. He is sooo cute! I am so glad we got the opportunity to meet him. And the get together at Rachael's mom's house was so perfect. Lovely house, great people, awesome food...can't really ask for more than that.

Matt's family and all of their extended family and friends are some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. Its nice to know Leah has something like that to be a part of as she grows older.

Cranky Leah

As of late I have been asked by Nancy to open the store a few days a week. I am lucky to have George and Ruth cause I wouldn't be able to do it any other way.

Sometimes Leah is not up by the time we have to go. Today I had to wake her up to dress her and get ready. She was very unhappy with me and didn't appreciate the fact I also wanted to take a picture of her. She is wearing the t-shirt she got from her grandparents when they visited Grandfather Mountain in the Carolinas.

Guy's *Andrew* Surprise Birthday Party

Tonight was Guy's Surprise Party. It was awesome. Everything turned out perfectly and it was great to spend time with everyone.

Jonathan's Birthday Party

There are many birthdays in September and October.

Today we went to Jonathan's birthday party at Jodie and Rich's house. Let me start off by saying its an awesome house.

I took some pics of everyone but I forgot to check with everyone to see if I could post them so until I talk to Jodie and Jamie I will hold off.

Anyhoo it was fun and I think Leah had a great time.

Birthday Dinner at Canterbury Ales

We went to Cantebury Ales for George's Birthday. It is located in Oyster Bay, actually down the block from where Blanca (Kitti's mom) lives.

Here are some of the pictures. See Leah's very pretty dress :D It was a birthday gift from Ruth and it looked so perfect on Leah. Fortunately for once I got her to keep at least one hair clip in her hair.

George's Birthday Gift

Just as Matt got home from work today he said to me (Mind you I am already late for work!) "Oh Sol could you take a picture with the baby and me for my dad's gift." Only Matthew! :P

So we posed and posed AND posed and then finally got this. If we'd had more time (but we know Matt, he loves to wait till the last minute) but at least I was smiling, how could I not standing next to Matt and Leah? :D

Kitti stopped by and I got to watch Delilah for a little bit while Kitti ran some errands nearby.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Today is Grandpa Deller's birthday!

Where does the time go. I remember Leah just turning a month old and his birthday rolling around. And now look at it. A year later already.

We wish you the best and thank you so much for being there every single day for Leah and us. Don't know what we would do without you!
