Happy Halloween!

Today was awesome. This morning I got up and gave Julia the costume I put together with her. There was even a little bit of Amber in the costume since I used some of the decorating supplies she left me when she moved. Then I did her hair. She looked so perfect!

Next we dressed up Leah in her Ladybug costume *which she got last year from her grandmother Ruth, when she got it I thought how lil she was in comparison. Can't believe that much time has already gone by!* and off we went to the Halloween Day Parade at Julia's school. Leah was very tired and somewhat cranky but once we got to the school and she was able to walk around, it was a whole different Leah.

The parade was great. The seniors from the high school really went all the way with their costumes. All the kids at the school were dressed up and the kindergarteners marched as well. I had a great time. I think Leah did as well. We left and I took Leah to the park to play for a little bit. She tired herself out and I was exhausted so we walked back home. She went down for her nap.

Once the girls got home from school I got Leah dressed up in her next costume, a wonderful lil bumblebee.

Next we went trick or treating with Laurie, Louie, Toni-Ann and Julia. Up Midwood and down Midwood. Matt left work early and met up with us. We got tons of candy and had a great time. I know it will be a Halloween that I will always remember.

Afterwards we went and visited with Ruth and George. It was a perfect day with a great beginning and wonderful end :D

Here is Leah as a ladybug with her silly binkie:

The only thing that I missed was seeing Kitti, Guy and Delilah. We will have to work on that one next year.

Leah is a lil comfortable

Leah is definitely comfortable at her grandparents house. When we were there I watched her walk into the office next to the living room and bring out her toys one by one. She walks around their house like she owns the place. She doesn't know it but she is one lucky girl having people like that in her life. Caring for her, giving her a home away from home. Too lucky. We all are.

Here she is playing. And she is wearing a very cute outfit her daddy got her from BJs.

Perfect Fall Day

Weather is absolutely beautiful today. Got up and had some breakfast and then went out for a bit with Leah. Snapped a few pictures of her outside the house on the stoop.

Leah has two more teeth coming in. She is not enjoying the teething process.

Leah and fries

You cannot eat some things in front of Leah without her expecting all of it...the list goes something like this:

Vienna Sausages, potato chips, french fries, crackers, crackers and more crackers. The girl loves salt. Forget about sweets, its salt that is her passion.

Here she is at home eating some fries she stole from us.

Baby stuff run

Went to BJs for a diaper/wipes run and to get some other stuff. Took a pic of Matt next to this cool snowglobe. Leah loves walking around that place.

Lunch date with Mommy

Took a walk with Leah. A long walk. We went to the Post Office in Farmingdale, then walked into town and had lunch at Bolinger's. Afterwards we walked all the way to where the Boce's is located. I was going to go to Sunrise but I got tired so I headed back home.

Leah had a grilled cheese and some sweet potato fries.

Took some pics. As you can see she starts off pretty pissy when the food isn't around but as soon as its there and she has it, she is all smiles.

Soon it'll be Gucci bags

Leah likes to go through my stuff. My bags are her favorite thing. Loves purses, diaper bags, backpacks and so on. Good thing she also puts stop back where she got it from.

She also loves horseplay. She loves it when Matt plays with her.
