And in her car seat...still amazes me how well behaved she is in that thing and for how long.

Icy Stuff
Matt teasing Leah with some ices I bought. We used to buy them at the bodega for a nickle or a dime for the bigger ones. I bought a bag for a buck not too long ago at Compare Foods :D Which by the way is the only place on Long Island that I can buy anything I need without it being in the "ethnic" aisle and is not incredibly overpriced.
Leah will be right at home there. I can't wait till I can teach her how to cook and make her daddy's meals! (Okay that's not true, I can wait but it will be fun once she can do that sort of thing.)
Anyway so here are the pics.

First Tooth
Today Leah cut her first tooth. I am happy...and sad. But mostly happy. Very cool :D

Off from school
The girls are off from school this week, I brought Leah down in the morning to play with them. Leah loves it. She is always laughing and smiling when she is with them.
Here she is crawling around on the floor.

Passover
Went to Bernice's for Passover. Took some pics of Leah while we were there.
She didn't take any naps and was up since the morning, 20 seconds after the car started moving she was out like a light.

Long Island Bus System
Walked from our house over to Conklin and Rt 110. Took the S1 over to Melville and went to the Social Security Office, I had to go get a new card. Then went right next to it and visited some Starbucks partners I know at the Melville Starbucks. Then I was going to take the bus over to Walt Whitman Mall but I decided to walk it.
Hung out at the Huntington/RT 110 Starbucks for a bit, showed Leah off to the partners there. Then headed over to the mall where I showed her off to a few of the girls that I know at Express and at the Starbucks Kiosk. Mucho Starbucks today :D
Good walk. Decent exercise. I love that I can get around on the bus systems all over Nassau and Suffolk and not get lost.
Anyway, Leah was great as usual. No crying, no fussing. Just loving the traveling. Not cranky one bit. She continues to impress me :D

Another Great Day
Today was another wonderful day. I love this weather.
Kitti came over with Delilah. I really can't put into words how amazing I think it is that we are hanging out with our DAUGHTERS. I never would've thought a year ago this is what I would be doing today. Its wonderful. Days can be hard and long sometimes but days like today really make me see just how lucky I am. Lucky to have Leah, lucky to be able to share her with so many wonderful people.
We went and had some sushi at a really nice restaurant in Massapequa. Then headed over to Wantagh and walked around by the water at the park.
A really great day.

Bathtime, Nakey pics and Playtime
Got this great inflatable turtle at Target a few weeks ago. Its a bath for Leah. I love it because she can sit in it and play and I don't have to be concerned about her hurting herself.

IHOP and more
Today my dad visited with my lil brother Bert and Vivian. It was a beautiful perfect Sunday. Woke up with Matt and Leah, got a lil extra sleep which was much needed. I haven't been getting much and was being pretty cranky Saturday night. (Saturday night Lindsay took us out for dinner. I was so tired I didn't even bite the waitress' head off when she totally screwed up my order for Leah.)
Anyway, after getting up, my dad came and we went out to IHOP and got some food. Then we went to Sam Ash where my dad shopped for some drum stuff. I admired all the lovely trumpets that will take me many paychecks to save up for...I did treat myself to a nice soft case for my trumpet. Then we went to Toys R Us where my dad got these cute bibs for Leah, a Mets one and a Yankee one. I got Leah a portable high chair until we get her a real one, then the portable one can go to her grandparent's house. Hmm what else...oh and I got myself a nice sling backpack diaper bag.
After went off to the Land of Os and Ahhs to check out their nostalgic toys. Admired an awesome lifesize yoda. Very cool.
After they all left we had some dinner at the beach and went home.
An all around perfect Sunday. :D
Here is a pic of Leah outside of IHOP in Plainview.

Leah as Yoda this is
While I was at work today Matt played dress-up with Leah.
Here she is modeling her kick ass yoda onesie.
Ha! I have the remote, I control the universe, The force is now with me!
This is my foot. You will now bow to me and kiss it!
Praise Star Wars!

Off to da Bronx we go
Went to visit my family today. Took some pics with them. Well of Leah with them.
First to my dad's. Gotta love how Matt is always lurking, making some face in the background.
Then mom's.
