Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Matt's birthday today at Red Robin.

Leah wearing one of her newest fave t-shirts. She LOVES Big Bang Theory. After Jeopardy we usually watch the syndicated episodes on Fox 5 at 7:30 pm.

This is her 'Sheldon' Face.

Dance, Dance, JUST DANCE!

Leah received many Christmas presents. One we just got around to opening is Just Dance 2 for Wii. Everyone got in on the fun. As usual with most video games Matt did well but for once I did better :)

Leah follows the dance moves very easily (no surprise there). Louis also did pretty well.

Matt doing his thing. Not really any dancing involved here.

Nintendo Love

Matt gave Leah his Nintendo DS. The only good that can come from this is the father-daughter bonding that is happening.

4th of July Part 2

We spent the evening as we have the past 3 years...at our neighbors' parents' house. They have a huge 4th of July party with great good food, company & of course what the men love most- fireworks.

I spent most of the evening indoors with Louis while Leah spent the time bonding with Matt.

She has a great time playing with one of the lil dogs, cute but fiesty Boston Terrier named Zoe.

This was the first year Leah freely handled Sparklers without crying about it.

Spring Kick-Off

We celebrated Spring today by heading over to Tobay Beach and playing at the playground there. We packed up some sandwiches for lunch and met up with our neighbors/friends. It was a beautiful day.

Clarinet Time

Leah is interested in music, especially in learning how to play musical instruments. Matt took out his clarinet and gave Leah a lesson on to hold and play the clarinet. We need to get her a mouthpiece & reeds of her own.

Official Daddy & Leah Day

Leah refers to her days alone with us as "Daddy & Leah" or "Mommy & Leah" days. The three of us together without work or errands are called "Family Days."

Today Matt & Leah were both off for President's Day so they had a Daddy & Leah day together.

Matt took Leah to the Atlantis Marine World Aquarium.
