Today was awesome. This morning I got up and gave Julia the costume I put together with her. There was even a little bit of Amber in the costume since I used some of the decorating supplies she left me when she moved. Then I did her hair. She looked so perfect!
Next we dressed up Leah in her Ladybug costume *which she got last year from her grandmother Ruth, when she got it I thought how lil she was in comparison. Can't believe that much time has already gone by!* and off we went to the Halloween Day Parade at Julia's school. Leah was very tired and somewhat cranky but once we got to the school and she was able to walk around, it was a whole different Leah.
The parade was great. The seniors from the high school really went all the way with their costumes. All the kids at the school were dressed up and the kindergarteners marched as well. I had a great time. I think Leah did as well. We left and I took Leah to the park to play for a little bit. She tired herself out and I was exhausted so we walked back home. She went down for her nap.
Once the girls got home from school I got Leah dressed up in her next costume, a wonderful lil bumblebee.
Next we went trick or treating with Laurie, Louie, Toni-Ann and Julia. Up Midwood and down Midwood. Matt left work early and met up with us. We got tons of candy and had a great time. I know it will be a Halloween that I will always remember.
Afterwards we went and visited with Ruth and George. It was a perfect day with a great beginning and wonderful end :D

The only thing that I missed was seeing Kitti, Guy and Delilah. We will have to work on that one next year.
