O Canada - Day Six - Ontario Science Centre

We started our day with visiting the Ontario Science Centre. From the minute we walked in the kids were in love. Immediately they ran off to get a look at the long hallway that lead to the first level of exhibits. It was a chronological walk through botany of all the different changes over the billions years on Earth. The first exhibit was a great one, on the circus.

They had a few examples of  'Guess the dung' that Louis played with for about 20 minutes. Zebra, giraffe, elephant, tiger---dung. Silly kid.  Meanwhile Leah waited to give their tight wire walking activity a try.

Next we visited their KidSpark play area. It reminded me of the Louisiana Children's Museum. They had two huge areas full of things for kids 8 and under to do.

Leah and Louis shopped together in the market.

They also had build your own roller coasters, bubbles, water play area, and on and on. The other exhibits were also great for kids of all ages. Leah's favorite exhibit hall was the Weston Family Innovation Centre. We could've spent our entire day in the hall alone. Comprehensive free guided learning, hands on activities. Leah made a rocket and Matt made a balance thingie. :)

We stopped and had some lunch in their food court which surprisingly (to me) had some pretty decent food choices.

We visited a sports exhibit where Leah raced a virtual T-Rex and found she was not as fast.

There were many more exhibit halls to check out that we had time allotted for. I could see coming back to the Ontario Science Centre many times if we lived nearby.
