O Canada - Day Five - ROM

We had a loose itinerary for our first trip to Downtown Toronto. Traveling with the kids we know we have to play it by ear and go with the flow.

Day Five:
     - ROM
     - Walk to Kensington Market, Chinatown, Queens Street West, Harbourfront
     - CN Tower

We started off at the Royal Ontario Museum aka ROM. You can't miss ROM. The building is unique and beautiful.

Leah and Louis started to look around as soon as we were in.

The  Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity kept Leah busy. She loved the touchscreen computer modules at each station. She spent about an hour in this section alone. She especially enjoyed the multitudes of specimens from the Narwhal whale to dodo skeletons.

ROM has a nice play area for children. Something for everyone...including Matt.

Then it was off to see one of the kids' favorites, dinosaurs (and mammals)!
